Our client is a leading General Contractor specializing in education, high-end multifamily, and mixed-use construction across the Chicagoland market. They deliver luxury residential, podium-style, and mid- to high-rise developments for well-capitalized developers. Job Description

Glimpse of your role:

• Manage all phases of education and multi-family construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Monitor project progress and address any challenges or delays promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery of necessary materials and resources.
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction activities and ensure quality control.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and performance.

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up new construction.
• Strong project experience on commercial, healthcare, k-12, or multi-family
• Proven ability to run projects valued while managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and clients.
• Skilled in Procore, MS Project, or other project management tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, permitting, and construction processes; background in estimating or field supervision is a plus.
