Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit position requiring IMCU, medsurg, and telemetry experience on the night shift. Details 27-bed unit caring for a mix of IMCU, neurology, and medsurg patients High volume of neuro, medicine, and cardiology patients, including chronic vents, trachs, and high acuity heart failure cases Patient ratios average 1:3 for IMCU and 1:4 or 1:4-5 for medsurg patients Uses auto med dispensing systems 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week Every other weekend and every other holiday required Requirements Active MA RN license required BLS certification required Telemetry certification required Minimum 1 year of IMCU experience required Minimum 2 years of recent medsurg and telemetry experience required Experience with neuro care, MIs, and trachs required Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips required Critical care experience preferred Must complete a telemetry test on day one Skills checklist and professional references required for consideration Additional Information Care for patients with complex medical needs across IMCU, neurology, and medsurg populations Previous permanent staff at this facility are not eligible for this travel position Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
