Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed infrastructure software company building an AI-driven platform that helps engineering teams automate and manage complex cloud systems. By reducing the manual effort required to run infrastructure, the platform enables teams to move faster, improve reliability, and scale efficiently in modern cloud environments.
Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Founding Product Marketing Manager to own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. You'll act as the bridge between product, sales, and customers-translating technical capabilities into clear, compelling narratives that drive adoption.
This is a high-impact, hands-on role in a lean team, working closely with founders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Define positioning, messaging, and product differentiation
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies
- Partner with product and engineering to translate technical features into customer value
- Create sales enablement materials and support pipeline growth
- Lead product launches, campaigns, and events
- Produce content for technical audiences (case studies, blogs, etc.)
- Conduct market research and track competitive trends
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of product marketing or related experience
- Background in infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, or developer tools
- Strong ability to simplify technical concepts into clear messaging
- Experience with go-to-market strategy and sales enablement
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
