Financial Analyst

THE POSITION Stack is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our construction finance function. This role will support calling for equity from our investors, budget-to-actual analyses, cash flow forecasts, and performance metrics at both the project and portfolio level across various departments in the organization. Strong analytic and interpersonal skills, prioritizing collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive informed decision‑making and supporting strategic financial initiatives. Responsibilities Prepare and consolidate monthly capital calls to investors to ensure funding is received in a timely manner. Assist teams with tracking costs and forecasting cash flows for projects that are in diligence phases. Track and monitor recurring variances, identifying trends and risk areas impacting forecast accuracy. Improve financial workflows, modeling standards, and reporting processes to increase rigor, efficiency, and scalability. Prepare monthly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support efficient data management. Conduct ad hoc analyses related to strategic initiatives and capital investment decisions translating assumptions into clear financial impact and decision‑ready insights. Track capital commitments and approvals. Must pass a comprehensive background screening. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience. Advanced Excel skills. Works well with others from all levels of the org chart. Effective communication with complicated topics. Experience in cost accounting, auditing, or financial reporting.
