Step into a dynamic elementary school environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) on a contract assignment supporting students and staff during an FMLA leave. Role highlights:

• Immediate start date, with coverage through mid-December 2026
• Full-time schedule, up to 40 hours per week
• Elementary school caseload with variety, from articulation and language to students utilizing AAC systems
• Serve students of varying needs in a collaborative school-based team

Desired background and skills:

• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing therapy and assessments for students with a wide spectrum of abilities, including those using AAC devices
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Flexibility and adaptability within a fast-paced learning environment
• Current licensure to practice as an SLP in North Carolina, or the ability to obtain licensure quickly

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting screenings, evaluations, and therapy sessions for elementary students
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff
• Maintaining thorough and accurate student records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Supporting student progress in communication and language skills, both individually and in group settings
