Registered Nurse (Per Diem – Days/Nights) Location: Monte Nido Rosewood , Wickenburg, Arizona We save lives while providing the opportunity for people to realize their healthy selves. The primary responsibility of the Nurse is evaluation, monitoring, planning, administration, and direct delivery of patient‑care services. Maintains a current nursing license in the State of practice. This position is responsible for nursing assessment plans and overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending providers. The Nurse is also a member of the Treatment Team and provides input into the development of the Master Treatment Plan. The Nurse functions under the guidance of their State Licensure within the facility in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Responsibilities Initiate the admission process by obtaining provider orders upon patient arrival and completing the initial nursing assessment within 24 hours. Perform vital sign monitoring, including orthostatic vitals and blind weights as ordered; conduct patient assessments and document findings. Monitor and document patient progress or regression per established policies. Assist providers in facilitating weekly patient consultations. Offer education and support to help patients develop skills for safe self‑administration of medications after discharge. Ensure accurate placement of medications and update the medication administration record. Support patients in obtaining medications from the pharmacy, including facilitating initial orders. Coordinate and facilitate collection of laboratory specimens; ensure timely receipt of results and communicate findings. Demonstrate knowledge of medication actions, side effects, and contraindications; research unfamiliar medications prior to administration. Collect and record data comprehensively and accurately. Maintain patients’ records updated in the electronic system. Support a therapeutic milieu by monitoring behaviors, fostering a recovery‑focused environment, and collaborating with the treatment team. Communicate relevant information obtained from patients or families to the interdisciplinary team. Coordinate with the Primary Therapist on insurance review information if needed. Work collaboratively with medical and psychiatric teams to provide integrated nursing care. Participate in discharge planning with medical and psychiatric teams. Attend monthly nurse‑led meetings and other team meetings as needed. Provide health education to patients through individual or group sessions. Assist patients in coordinating their outpatient appointments. Support the informed consent process. Know Baker Act (Florida Only). Deliver clinical nursing care safely, competently, and professionally. Adhere to established standards of nursing practice and organizational policies. Complete required onboarding and annual training within designated timeframes and attend scheduled trainings. Demonstrate professionalism and serve as a positive role model. Report suspected patient rights violations promptly. Remain on‑site as part of the emergency team if required. Perform other tasks as assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum of one year of experience. Valid nursing licensure. Multistate nursing license (preferred). CPR/First Aid certification. Good communication skills. Service‑oriented and takes initiative. Good attendance and punctuality; dependable. Strong safety awareness. Organized use of time. Cooperation, teamwork, and flexibility.
