POSITION SNAPSHOT Location: 650 East Ave Erie Pa Schedule: Monday - Friday No Holidays or WeekendsEmployment Status: Full Time Compensation: $16 / hour WHY THIS ROLELooking for a patient-facing role where your organization and customer service skills make a difference? Primary Health Network is seeking a Front Office Assistant to welcome patients, coordinate appointments, and support efficient front office operations in a busy healthcare setting.WHAT YOU'LL DO· Greet patients and visitors professionally, answer calls, and document accurate messages in the electronic medical record (EMR).· Register and check in patients, verify insurance and contact information, and assist with patient check-out.· Schedule appointments, coordinate patient reminders and referrals, and assist with transportation arrangements when needed.· Collect payments, explain sliding fee paperwork, respond to routine billing questions, and reconcile daily receipts.· Maintain accurate patient records through scanning, indexing, correspondence, and other daily front office processes.· Support smooth patient flow, respond promptly to patient concerns, and maintain a welcoming, organized reception area.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR· High school diploma or equivalent, or willingness to obtain within one year.· At least one year of professional office experience.· Strong customer service, communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.· Computer and technology proficiency, attention to detail, and commitment to patient confidentiality.· Flexibility to work evenings or weekends and travel as directed.COMPENSATIONStarting pay: $16 per hour.
