DOT Certified Drug and Alcohol Collector

About the Job Key Responsibilities: Specimen Collection:
- Accurately and timely collection of specimens following DOT guidelines.
- Conduct random and emergency observed urine collections for same-sex donors.
- Collect specimens for drug screenings and additional services.
- Complete and accurately fill out Chain of Custody (COC) and Alcohol Testing Forms.
- Properly label and package specimens for transport, ensuring the correct forms are used.
- Upload, fax, and mail COC and Alcohol Testing Forms within 24 hours.
- Dispatched to onsite collections & events.
- Safely and promptly transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and materials to designated destinations.
- Maintain detailed records of each specimen collected and support record deletion processes as directed.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and donors.
- Follow DOT Guidelines for Breath Alcohol and Urine collections.
- Maintain collection logs, accuracy logs, calibrations, and certifications.
- Correct any collection errors within 24 hours.
- Submit accurate time and travel logs as required by management.
- Current certification to perform DOT drug and alcohol collections.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a busy lab and travel to client locations throughout Palm Beach County.
