Job Title: Extrusion Operator Location: Taunton MA 02780 Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am Pay Rate: USD 23.95 /hr Contract: TTH
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to set up, operate, and maintain extrusion equipment for high-quality silicone products, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
Key Qualifications:
- 13 years of manufacturing experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Mathematical and measuring proficiency
- Ability to read, write, and follow work orders and specifications in English
- Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to spot defects
Core Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate extrusion processes for various profiles, tubing sizes, and materials
- Feed, load, and cut silicone strips; balance and maintain consistent feed
- Monitor gauges and controls to ensure quality and product consistency
- Complete clean-outs, screen changes, and perform minor routine maintenance
- Inspect products and cut to required lengths
- Follow all workplace safety and company guidelines, using PPE as required
