Sleep Medicine Physician

Provide high-quality clinical care in sleep medicine, devoting at least 85% effort to clinical work. Educate trainees concurrently with clinical practice. Dedicate remaining effort to education and collaborative research activities. Demonstrate academic accomplishments consistent with promotion, such as an average of at least one publication per year. Practice at University of Minnesota Medical Center and one or more Fairview Hospitals and Clinics. Participate in PACCS Division and Department of Medicine academic and clinical programs in pulmonary and critical care. Develop an area of focus and expertise in sleep medicine and build regional and national reputation. Participate in relevant multidisciplinary programs. Participate in multi-investigator research studies and grants related to sleep medicine and other Division and Department projects. Participate in clinical and research conferences, journal club, core curriculum lectures, and teaching of students, residents, and fellows. Requirements M.D. or D.O. High-level qualifications and in-depth knowledge in Sleep Medicine. Board certification or eligibility by American Board of Internal Medicine. Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Ability to maintain legal status according to the requirements of the VISA category while in the United States. Recently trained, clinically adept sleep medicine physician preferred by the role profile. Experience and skills in education and/or clinical research are desirable.
