Description

What you'll do:

• Makes general repairs to equipment
• Performs routine maintenance on equipment
• Welds and fabricates parts as needed to facilitate repairs
• Completes all required documentation of service work performed
• Fills in for the Plant Operator or Loader Operator when regular staff are out
• Follows all company policies and procedures in accordance with guidelines established by Arcosa management
• Ensure that all work activities are conducted in a safe manner
• Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned

What you'll need:

• Knowledge and understanding of aggregate recycling operations, preferred
• Understand what it takes for a customer-oriented business to be successful and what it takes to provide the products/services necessary to meet the customers' needs on a timely basis
• Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization
• Ability to read and understand basic reports, and complete routine mathematics
• Knowledge of various types of welding processes (sheet metal, ironwork etc.)
• Ability to lift fifty (50) lbs. pounds with regularity and up to seventy-five (75) pounds in some cases
• Complete understanding of the workings of equipment used by the company

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is $36.44 to $44.67 per hour. The pay rate offered will be determined by the applicant's experience, skills, and abilities.
