Position: Medical Assistant
Shift: Day 2x10-Hour (08:00 AM - 05:40 PM)
Schedule:
- Monday: 8:00 AM - 3:40 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:20 PM
- Thursday: Off
- Friday: 9:40 AM - 2:40 PM
Role Overview:
This position primarily focuses on providing clinical support as a Medical Assistant. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Basic rooming of patients
- Conducting well child checks and wellness visits
- Administering immunizations and procedures
- Managing in-basket tasks and paperwork
- Occasional front-office duties, which may include patient check-in/check-out, phone coverage, scheduling, and managing patient messages
- Supporting clinic flow as needed in a general Family Medicine practice
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months in a clinical setting; first-timers accepted
- Certifications: BLS, MA-C or MA-R required
- Skills: Proficiency in healthcare terminology and the Epic charting system is required
- Applicable Areas: Adult outpatient clinics, various patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

- The candidate may be required to float within their scope of practice as needed
- Weekend requirements: No
- On-call requirements: No
- The candidate should have a well-rounded skill set, experience in well child checks is a plus
