Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager

Responsibilities Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit. Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team. Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork. Lead a team focused on delivering the highest quality product, service, and customer experience. Provide customers with the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and related products, providing guidance without prescribing. Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the vitamin team. Unload, sort, and manage store deliveries. Ensure execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and that team members follow them. Qualifications Minimum 18 years old with at least 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience that includes leadership duties, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Dependable, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Outgoing, friendly, and positive with strong communication skills. Ability to give and receive direction while maintaining a team environment. Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and dust. Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations. Willingness to gain education on new products and alternative health. Strong organization and prioritization skills. Capability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lbs., and maneuver heavy objects up to 72” over a distance up to 2 feet; lift and maneuver up to 25 ft. when required. Ability to walk up to 3 miles in an 8‑hour shift and to perform related duties as assigned. Must be able to navigate a ladder with a force up to 5 lbs. for up to 2 hours and up to 25 ft. distance. Pay $19.50 – $29.15 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
