Litigation Associate

Mission Recruiting is representing a respected litigation practice seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney – Insurance Defense to join its growing team in Roseville, California . This opportunity is driven by increased case volume and is ideal for an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience who enjoys independently managing cases while collaborating with an experienced legal team. Attorneys with insurance defense or personal injury experience are encouraged to apply. Strong plaintiff-side litigators with exceptional case evaluation skills will also be considered. Compensation Potentially substantial quarterly productivity bonus Location & Work Arrangement Work arrangement: Hybrid About the Opportunity This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of litigation files from inception through resolution while working alongside a collaborative team of experienced attorneys. The practice continues to expand, creating long-term opportunities for attorneys who thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment and value professional autonomy. Responsibilities Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution Develop case strategy and evaluate liability and damages Draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents Conduct written discovery and depositions Prepare and argue motions Negotiate settlements when appropriate Prepare matters for trial and participate in trial proceedings as needed Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel Collaborate with attorneys and staff on complex litigation matters Required Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active California Bar membership in good standing 5+ years of litigation experience Experience independently handling litigation files Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills Excellent case management and organizational abilities Preferred Qualifications Personal injury litigation experience Plaintiff-side litigation experience with strong case evaluation abilities Experience involving real property disputes Experience handling HOA litigation Trial preparation and courtroom experience 100% employer-paid medical insurance Employer pays 50% of dependent medical premiums 401(k) with a 3% employer contribution Quarterly productivity bonus opportunity Why This Opportunity Stands Out Competitive compensation up to $200,000+ DOE Independent file management with meaningful responsibility Collaborative and supportive litigation team Growing practice with increasing case volume Employer-sponsored retirement contributions #J-18808-Ljbffr
