CNA - Nursing Assistant

Schedule: Part-time evenings. Must be available for full shift orientation on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 14 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or RQI only)
• One (1) year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) capacity
• High School Diploma or GED

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care.
• Maintain resident safety and environmental cleanliness according to policies and procedures.
• Support residents' nutritional needs, including meal delivery and feeding assistance.
• Implement rehabilitative needs as specified in the resident's plan of care.
• Report resident rights, concerns, and changes in physical or emotional status to nursing staff.

Compliance / Notes:

• Orientation required on the first day.
• Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is anticipated.
