Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks, possible extension Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Compact or state license in hand Certifications: BLS required via American Heart Association Must-Have: - EPIC proficient - IV Start and Telemetry Interpretation skills - Patient ratios experience of 1:7 Description: Chesapeake is located in a beautiful area known for its outdoor activities. It offers trails for all levels of hikers and over 20 waterways to explore. Candidates must not have any prior license or background hits. Patient ratios are 1:7. Travelers must be pre-closed on this ratio before submitting. This position is on an Oncology/MedSurg/Telemetry unit. Candidates should be available for weekdays, every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract. The facility cannot accommodate blocked scheduling requests. Candidates must include a current NURSYS report with their profile. Any history of license or background issues will eliminate a candidate from consideration. Fit testing requirements must be met. Candidates should be prepared to pass an EKG testing requirement. Candidates will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis for any requested time off. A current address must be included with the profile. Candidates must have the required skills and experience outlined to be considered for the position.
