Phlebotomist

Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy professional to join our team at 1201 N. Rose Dr. Suite 202, Placentia, CA. Work schedule: Monday through Friday 5:00 am‑1:45 pm, with rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience at LabCorp. Additional Job Standards In lieu of a state license, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirements. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 per hour. Benefits: Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan.
