This onsite position spans multiple campuses, offering the chance to utilize your expertise in speech-language pathology for immediate maternity leave coverage at both a Junior High and an Elementary setting, with a subsequent assignment at a High School.

Begin by making a positive impact at the start of the school year, covering until October 19th, with an additional role available from September 23rd through November 15th. You’ll be working a full-time, 37.5-hour week, tailoring your interventions to students’ individual needs while collaborating closely with educational staff and families.

Preferred Background and Qualifications:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in school-based settings, working with a varied caseload
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Commitment to fostering supportive learning environments for students

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Deliver direct therapy across campus assignments, adjusting approaches to best suit elementary, junior high, or high school populations
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to ensure students’ progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district guidelines and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
