Description

• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions that focus on fluency, voice modulation, language development, and swallowing techniques.
• Engage collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to ensure seamless care.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families, guiding them in fostering progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Contribute to occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, assuring the continuity of patient care throughout their treatment journey.
• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with state and federal guidelines, as well as organizational policies.
• Commit to ongoing education and peer collaboration to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
