Description

• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication skills, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers to formulate unified care strategies.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families to enhance progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Support occasional inpatient speech assessments and therapy, ensuring a seamless care experience throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Keep accurate and timely documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay versed in the latest advancements in speech-language pathology.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required if not yet ASHA certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) awarded by ASHA.
• Completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days from hire date.
