School Psychologist | Smyrna, Delaware

ProCare Therapy

Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your skills as a School Psychologist will make a meaningful difference for K-4 students. This role offers remarkable flexibility — whether you're seeking full-time, part-time, or something in between, your licensed expertise is welcomed. The position is based onsite, a shift from current virtual support, to better connect with students and staff and foster a dynamic, supportive educational environment.

Your experience and preferences matter; while the primary need is with K-4, there is potential to tailor your caseload to your professional interests or areas of strength. Interviews are set to move quickly, so you can expect a streamlined process.

You’ll contribute your assessment, counseling, and intervention skills to enrich students' educational journeys, collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to ensure a holistic support system.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Licensed or certified as a School Psychologist in the state
Experience within a school setting, particularly working with K-4 age groups preferred (but not required)
Strong assessment and counseling skills, with knowledge of developing and implementing IEPs and interventions
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Open to both seasoned professionals and recent graduates who are ready to contribute

Responsibilities Include:

Conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
Providing direct counseling services to students
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop interventions and strategies
Supporting teachers and families with resources and recommendations
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to IEP meetings as needed

Explore this flexible contract role where your preferences and skills can truly shape the position. If you are eager to build relationships in person and positively impact young learners, apply today for an immediate interview!
