The great majority of these products are transported through our Products Pipelines business, which moves gasoline, jet fuel, diesel, natural gas liquids and condensate through about 9,500 miles of pipelines. We also have approximately 65 liquids terminals in this business segment that store fuels and offer blending services for ethanol and biofuels.What You Will DoPOSITION DESCRIPTION:This position reports to the Manager of Financial Planning. The incumbent will provide financial analysis, planning services, and market analytical support to the Products Pipelines business unitEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Track and analyze performance of segment assets with emphasis on market factors and operating efficienciesCoordinate and compile weekly/bi-weekly flash earnings report for the segmentCoordinate and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly volume and margin reportsProvide support to commercial management personnel in development of reports and analysis for monthly earnings review, quarterly business reviews, annual budgets, and long-range outlooksPerform other duties as assigned*Position level will be dependent on the experience and job skills of successful candidate.What You NeedPosition Requirements: Finance/Accounting/Economics degree and minimum of one to three years accounting/finance experience preferredWorking knowledge of refined product pipeline and terminal logistics preferredCPA or MBA preferredStrong technical proficiency in business systems (Excel, Access, VBA and Lawson or other general ledger system)Self-starter with strong organizational skills and outstanding communication skillsMust be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s) and lead personnel, focus attention on details, follow work rules, and adhere to established work schedulesWhy Join Kinder MorganKinder Morgan is a large energy infrastructure company operating in North America.
