Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30)

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide both inpatient and outpatient therapy services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting evaluations and implementing treatment plans for adult patients, including performing Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently. This position is a hybrid role with an expected caseload of 1-3 outpatient visits per day, in addition to acute hospital care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies as needed.
• Manage a diverse caseload of inpatient and outpatient clients.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
