Paralegal/Legal Assistant

A highly regarded insurance defense boutique law firm based in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant (Hybrid) to join its office. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting attorneys on complex insurance defense matters while contributing to a team known for delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities Format pleadings and correspondence E-file legal documents in a variety of courts Proofread all documents for accuracy and completeness prior to distribution or filing Maintain and update/manage client files, both electronic and physical Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, deadlines, and court dates Provide professional and responsive telephone support when needed Assist with discovery process and trial preparation Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma required; college degree preferred 3+ years of experience working in a law firm as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant primarily in litigation defense Preferred experience with PACER, ECF, Net Docs Strong understanding of legal terminology, litigation processes, and court filings Proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with document management systems, time entry, and e-filing platforms Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Why This Opportunity This firm offers a collegial and supportive environment where employees are valued and given opportunities to grow.
