Principal Radar AEU/DREX Lead

Position Principal Electrical Engineer – Array Electronics Unit/Digital Receiver‑Exciter (AEU/DREX) Lead, Multi‑Function Radio Frequency System (MFRFS) Engineering team, McKinney, TX, onsite role. Location McKinney, TX Security Clearance U.S. citizen required. Must obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance. What You Will Do Interface between program engineering and program management teams to support test and design of the AEU/DREX. Communicate with the AEU/DREX team on technical issues and prioritize their resolution. Coordinate the status of technical issues with program technical leadership. Assist the AEU/DREX team with build, design, and troubleshooting as needed. Drive requirement or design updates from a program perspective to the AEU/DREX design team. Work with the factory build team to understand and optimize build processes. Support the sustainment team and assist SMEs in evaluating units returned from the field. Qualifications STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in electrical hardware design and development. Experience designing, developing, and producing RF and/or digital modules for military systems. Technical leadership experience, leading resolution of complex challenges. Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field is preferred. Broad technical background and ability to lead complex technical projects while maintaining high performance in a dynamic team environment. Knowledge of microprocessor, memory, FPGA, and interface protocols. Experience with digital, analog, and RF testing, and debugging of components. Understanding of CCA design and manufacturing; experience with subcontract management. Experience in proposal writing, cost estimation, and EVMS/Control Account Management.
