Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our hospital facility, which is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and treatment areas. You will be part of a collaborative healthcare team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, and support staff in a dynamic work environment emphasizing teamwork, compassion, and excellence in patient care. Our work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a consistent routine.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing customized treatment plans for each patient, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
• Provide hands-on physical therapy interventions, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises under supervision.
• Monitor, document, and report on patient progress during therapy sessions, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises and strategies, fostering independence and understanding of their recovery processes.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure that all aspects of patient care are addressed and optimized.
• Implement trigger point therapy techniques and support initiatives aimed at improving occupational health and wellness within the facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, injuries, and chronic conditions. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journey by helping them regain physical function and enhance their quality of life. You will develop personalized relationships with patients from various backgrounds, contributing to their emotional and physical well-being.

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with an emphasis on Patient Care.
• A current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) state license.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology essential for effective patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and familiarity with modern physical therapy equipment.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 70,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
