Commercial HVAC Service Technician (EPA Req.) at Confidential

Overview

Confidential has an immediate need for experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians serving commercial buildings throughout Westchester County. Multiple positions are available. Technicians will diagnose and repair heating and cooling equipment ranging from cooling towers and pumps to rooftop, split, and other commercial systems.

Responsibilities

- Respond to commercial service calls for maintenance, repair, and installation.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions.

• Install, replace, calibrate, and repair equipment and controls, including motors, compressors, coils, contactors, transformers, and thermostats.

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and their employees.

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints.

• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

• Perform preventive maintenance and support field leadership as needed.

Qualifications

- At least 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred.

• Experience with RTUs, DX split systems, SCAV units, ductless splits, chillers, cooling towers, and water-source heat pumps.

• EPA Universal HVAC certification.

• Clean driving record.

• NYC FDNY Torch/Fire Watch certifications F-60 and G-60 are optional.

Schedule and Benefits

- $35-$45 per hour with overtime available.

• Full-time schedule, typically 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

• On-call rotation approximately once every eight weeks with limited activity.
