Associate Attorney - Litigation

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Associates for its Los Angeles office. The firm has a thriving litigation practice focused on defending vehicle manufacturers and distributors in business litigation and breach of warranty matters in both state and federal courts.The firm regularly takes cases to trial and offers attorneys meaningful opportunities to participate in trials, including second-chair and potential first-chair responsibilities.

• Handle all or most phases of civil litigation.
• Respond to and manage written discovery.
• Handle discovery disputes.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other pleadings.
• Prepare trial documents and materials.
• Appear in state and federal courts.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials.
• Manage cases and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.

• Experience handling civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Strong experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Experience in business litigation, breach of warranty, automotive defense, or product liability is highly preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
• California Bar admission preferred/required.

• Salary: $140,000-$200,000+ depending on experience.
• Location: Los Angeles, CA.
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid/remote options available.
• Occasional in-office work may be required during trial preparation.
