Accounting AssistantLHH Recruitment is partnered with a financial services company in Albuquerque, New Mexico that is looking to add an Accounting Assistant to the team! This is a full-time onsite Monday through Friday position. Pay range $20.00-$23.00 per hour depending on prior experience.Job DutiesProcess financial transactions including payments, transfers, distributions, and account-related activityVerify transaction details and ensure accuracy before processingMaintain organized and accurate records for all transactions and client accountsPrepare, review, and track required documentation to ensure completenessAct as a liaison between clients, advisors, and internal departmentsProvide updates on transaction status and follow up on outstanding itemsEnsure all transactions comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controlsIdentify discrepancies or issues and escalate as neededTrack deadlines and ensure all steps in the transaction process are completed on timePrioritize multiple transactions in a fast-paced environmentRespond to client inquiries related to transactions and account activityDeliver a high level of customer service while maintaining confidentialityQualifications1+ years of experience in financial services, banking, accounting, or administrative supportExperience with transaction processing, payment processing, or financial operations preferredHigh school diploma requiredOnboarding requirements include background check and credit check due to the nature of the environmentKey SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and financial systems/CRMsBasic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division.If you are interested and meet the requirements apply now!
