Implement and adjust rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, strength, and functional outcomes; monitor progress and document results. Collaborate with nursing, physicians, case management, and therapy teammates to coordinate care and plan discharge. Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, safety, and transition planning. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical records documentation, and infection control standards. Maintain safety and quality of care through ongoing assessment and appropriate referral when needed. Requirements California Physical Therapist license (active) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if license obtained on or after January 2016; or foreign equivalent AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification required ICU experience preferred but not required Minimum 2 years of experience in the submitted unit specialty within the last 3 months Ability to work in a short-term acute care hospital environment and follow clinical directives Benefits and Support Weekly pay range: $2,107–$2,160 (per week) 13-week travel assignment with assignment support Access to dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC during the assignment No on-call required; weekend rotation included as specified Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
