Director, Business Strategy and Operations

Director-level strategic operations role at Kite, a Gilead subsidiary focused on cancer therapies. Reports to VP/GM of US Commercial, leading business strategy, planning, and organizational effectiveness to translate priorities into coordinated execution and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serve as strategic advisor to General Manager, providing executive insights and Board-level communications
- Translate strategy into priorities, roadmaps, and actionable plans with accountability mechanisms
- Lead annual strategic, financial, and resource planning across US Commercial
- Design leadership governance and quarterly business review processes enabling disciplined execution
- Coordinate enterprise initiatives, track performance metrics, and drive process improvements
Requirements
- Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD) with 8+ years experience, or Master's with 10+ years, or Bachelor's with 12+ years
- Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience leading complex strategic initiatives
- Strong executive presence and stakeholder influence skills
- Business planning, financial analysis, and project management expertise
- Experience driving organizational transformation and operating model effectiveness
- Ability to lead without direct authority in matrixed environments
Compensation: $205,615.00 - $266,090.00 base
