Director, Corporate Strategy & Projects

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director of Corporate Strategy & Projects to serve as an enterprise strategy expert and cross-functional leader. The role involves conducting strategic analyses, leading enterprise initiatives, building stakeholder alignment, and providing executive-ready insights to advance organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

Conduct strategic analyses on market dynamics, competitive developments, and industry trends to inform enterprise decisions
Lead strategic workstreams and projects, determining scope, approach, and stakeholder engagement strategies
Develop frameworks and executive-ready recommendations on complex business issues
Foster cross-functional collaboration and build alignment across the organization on enterprise priorities
Prepare and present analyses, recommendations, and strategic insights to senior leadership

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 10+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 8+ years experience
Background in strategy, management consulting, corporate development, business operations, or finance
Working knowledge of Gilead's portfolio, business model, and strategic priorities
Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with demonstrated influence capabilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
Advanced communication skills and ability to translate analyses into actionable recommendations
Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry experience preferred

Compensation: $226,185–$292,710 base salary
