Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic Executive Assistant (EA) to join the growing TAX team. This important position will be based in the Dallas office. This position requires a hybrid schedule, and the standard working hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Managing Directors' calendars through Outlook to ensure optimal time management and prioritization of high-level engagements and strategic meetings.
- Submit expense reports through Concur and reconcile corporate credit card statements.
- Work closely with the staff to keep the team well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, ensuring streamlined communication and proactive dissemination of pertinent information and updates.
- Research, prioritize, and follow up on emerging issues and concerns, providing actionable recommendations.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders, providing guidance to support personnel and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Schedule and organize meetings, conference calls, events, and other departmental activities.
- Coordinate travel plans, hotels, and car service. Manage the planning and coordination of complex travel itineraries, including travel, hotels / accommodations, and executive transportation.
- Provide general administrative support, including handling sensitive and confidential files, binding, answering phones, and project specific initiatives.
- Represent the executive office by welcoming clients and visitors, ensuring a professional and polished first impression.
- Assist with departmental projects and initiatives as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism, maintaining trust and integrity at all times.
- Offer guidance and support to the executive assistant team to develop their skills and abilities, and assist with requests as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors' Degree in relevant field of study (degree in business-related field a plus) is preferred.
- 5+ years of Executive Assistant experience in consulting, professional services, accounting, or a law firm.
- Feels comfortable with completing expense reports through Concur, invoicing and reconciliation of credit card statements.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understands the importance of strict confidentiality of internal/personnel affairs/client information.
- Ability and desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and self-review and strong follow-up skills.
- Demonstrates ownership and accuracy of work product.
- Must work efficiently and be able to meet deadlines; strong time management skills; prompt reliable service.
- A self-starter who can multi-task and support multiple people with varied personalities.
- Ability to work independently, as well as on a team, in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to interact effectively and professionally with clients and all levels of firm personnel.
- Willingness to be coached / desire and capacity for growth / positive teaming attitude.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as required in the office and remotely.

Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined periodically as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $70,000 - $75,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
