Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of elementary students as an Occupational Therapist. This role is designed for a passionate professional ready to provide targeted therapy services within a supportive school environment near Morton Grove, IL. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 15 students, serving only one elementary school, ensuring you can dedicate attention and care to each child throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in Pennsylvania
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs
Role Highlights:
- Provide direct therapy and support to elementary-age students with a variety of needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
- Monitor student progress, document sessions, and participate in annual reviews
- Deliver services on an 8-hour workday schedule within one school building for maximum consistency
- Begin as soon as possible and finish at the end of the academic year in early June
