Prepare and enter supplier invoices to facilitate timely vendor payments.Discrepancy Resolution: Research and resolve complex invoice, statement, or payment discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.Data Validation & Compliance: Maintain Excel tracking sheets and validate daily entries against system reports to monitor payments, flag compliance issues, and coordinate corrections.Inbox & Workflow Management: Monitor and assist with maintaining the centralized accounting email inbox, supporting our paperless, digital environment.Customer Support: Provide exceptional financial customer service to internal departments and external vendors.Preferred Qualifications:Recent experience working with a State of Georgia agency (within the last 4 years).Two (2) years of recent accounts payable and data entry experience .Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook .Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to multi-task with minimal supervision and adapt quickly to process improvements.Physical Requirements:Sitting for extended periods while utilizing a computer.Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, or lift boxes to archive and pack physical files.Employment Requirements:Must pass an extensive pre-employment Georgia criminal background check and a post-hire federal background investigation. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
