Job Title Registered Nurse – SICU Location New Orleans, LA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (6:45–19:15) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide high-acuity ICU nursing care at a 1:2 patient ratio Care for post-operative surgical recovery patients including CABG, valve replacement/repair, and aortic dissection Manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring including PA catheters and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP) Support transplant recovery patients including liver, heart, lung, kidney, and pancreas recipients Perform or assist with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Float as required to other ICUs and Step-Down Units (SDUs) Required Qualifications Active Compact or Louisiana RN license — must be in hand at time of submittal Minimum 2 years of experience in SICU or equivalent high-acuity ICU specialty ACLS , BLS , and NIH Stroke Scale Certification required (AHA-issued certifications required) Proficiency with Epic EMR required NURSYS report must be submitted with profile and current within 4 weeks of submission date Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as measured from address on driver's license to facility address) — local travelers are not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with PA catheters and intra-aortic balloon pump management Background in transplant recovery nursing (liver, heart, lung, kidney, pancreas) Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a high-acuity, specialized ICU environment with a diverse and complex patient population Flexible scheduling options available — manager can accommodate 3x12 or 4x12 shift configurations Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775279.
