Office Manager

Job Description Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks an experienced Office Manager for its Los Angeles headquarters. The role oversees front‑desk operations, reception, and daily office administration, ensuring a professional, organized, and welcoming environment. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to the Facilities Manager and is located in vibrant West LA. Responsibilities Lead front‑desk and reception personnel, maintaining a clean and welcoming main reception area. Conduct routine walkthroughs of office spaces to identify maintenance, cleanliness, or workplace concerns. Partner with Facilities on vendor access and coordinate visitor registration and reception procedures, ensuring protocol compliance. Order and supervise stocking of food, beverages, and office supplies for personnel and guests. Coordinate workstation readiness with Facilities and IT teams. Support Front Desk staff with weekly lunch setups and break‑down logistics. Collaborate with Human Resources on onsite and offsite company events. Manage conference room standards and scheduling processes. Assist in receiving company packages in partnership with the Shipping team. Liaise with building management to resolve minor office issues. Perform related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum high school diploma or GED. At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 1–2 years managing a team. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, foster accountability, and drive results in a fast‑paced environment. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Proficiency with GoogleSuite and MicrosoftOffice. Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to federal contract requirements. Employment contingent upon successful background check and drug test. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Previous experience in office management or administration. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Office environment. Extended periods of sitting at a desk. Regular lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Walking and moving around multiple floors and offices. Compensation $75,000 – $85,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
