Investment Operations Analyst

Fund Management Team MemberMicroVentures, a leading equity crowdfunding platform, is seeking an ambitious individual to join our Fund Management team.The team is responsible for the full investment life cycle, including: establishment and funding of an LLC, target investment completion, day-to-day Fund accounting, preparation of periodic reports and tax forms, managing the exit of the target investment, closing the Fund.The ideal candidate is a high-integrity individual with incredible attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, willingness to learn a unique business, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced financial environment.What you'll do at MicroVentures:Assist in the establishment and maintenance of over 800 Venture FundsPrepare investor notices, including capital call, fee, and distribution noticesProcess outgoing and incoming paymentsMaintain key databases to fulfill ad-hoc requests for Fund and investor dataParticipate on special projects related to the fundAssist in the preparation of applicable tax forms (e.g., Form 1065)Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the funds' specificationsCollaborate with compliance, operations, and executive leadership teams to meet all requirements to the highest standards of qualityWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economicsAt least one year of work experience, preferably within the financial industryStrong organizational and documentation skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsKeen eye for details to identify trends, cause and effectsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities at onceStrategic thinker focused on continuous improvementProfessional demeanor and strong work ethicProficiency with Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, macros, pivot tables, etc.)Note to candidates: Cover letters and CVs will be hand reviewed.
