Assistant Branch Manager

TS Bank is seeking to hire an AssistantBranch Manager for our Council Bluffs locations. This roleassists with direct operations of the branch locations to ensureoperational effectiveness and that company and banking regulations,policies, and procedures are followed. Assists team's performance inensuring clients receive prompt and courteous service and that bankingproducts and services offered meet the needs of the client base. Education and experience preferred:Possess a high school diploma orGED certification required. Additional post high school educationand/or training is preferred. Three to four years of bankingexperience and/or training in financial industry. Location: Council Bluffs, IA Experience and Skills: Performs all essential responsibilities and tasks ofall Universal Banker levels proficiently. Participate in branch audits and certifications toensure branch compliance with policies and procedures Fulfill role of Branch Management staff in theirabsence and implement processes or projects as directed bythis role Support leadership team in the planning and executionof community, client, and business partner events Reviews compliance related reports and reports toBranch Manager about what the common issues seen Assists in technical training of bankers based onpersonal development plans as directed by Branch Managersor Personal Banking Development Manager Foster and promote exceptional client service basedupon guidelines set in the Client Impact Standards. Proactively identify sales opportunities with anemphasis on establishing profitable client relationshipsand deepening existing client relationships. Promote,explain, and sell all personal banking products andservices. Ask clients for referrals. Develop and implement plans to include calling onmaturing accounts, leads, referrals, new accountfollow-up, and other prospecting opportunities for thedesignated market area. Track results in the CRM andfollow up as appropriate. Help review daily overdraft report and make pay orreturn and charge or no charge decisions. Authorizetransactions in accordance with bank policy (e.g.deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, wire transfers, etc.). Maintain thorough product knowledge of all TS BankingGroup products and services. Help perform various audits as assigned by the Internal Auditor. Address and resolve client concerns and inquiries. Periodically participates in the bank's businessdevelopment activities, represent the bank in industry andprofessional associations, community organizations, localbusiness groups, etc., and promotes the bank's favorable image. Ability to perform all other duties as assigned. Comply with all banking and company regulations,policies, and procedures. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions, andprocedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports andcorrespondence. Ability to effectively present informationand respond to questions from employees of company and thegeneral public. Must possess good communication skills.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in allunits of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions,and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentand to draw and interpret bar graphs. To effectively perform the job, must have reliabletransportation to travel to and from work and otherwork-related events, meetings, interactions with clients, etc. Ability to operate the following: telephone, personalcomputer, printer, copy machine, fax machine. Workingknowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and databasesoftware programs. Advanced PC knowledge beneficial.
