Procurement Representative

Job Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and purchase machinery, equipment, tools, raw materials, packaging materials, parts, services, and supplies necessary for operation. Compile and analyze statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and establish price objectives. Monitor supplier performance and track price trends and manufacturing processes. Evaluate opportunities to leverage material acquisitions. Negotiate with suppliers and analyze suppliers' operations to determine factors affecting prices and achieve lowest cost while maintaining quality, reliability, and schedule compliance. Review proposals, negotiate prices, select or recommend suppliers, analyze trends, follow up on orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records. Prepare request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages when applicable. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience. Proven experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Additional Information Clearance Level: None. Work Schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week. The position offers a flexible 4X10 schedule that supports employees’ diverse personal needs. Relocation: Possible. Business Unit: RMS.
