Occupational Therapist (OT)

Occupational Therapist - FT This position will be located at Meyersdale Medical Center. The occupational therapist will treat inpatients, swing bed patients, and outpatients. How you'll contribute Create a specialized treatment plan to help patients achieve optimal well‑being through exercise and/or use of prosthetic and orthotic devices. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and other team members; instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in program follow‑through. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition. Handle responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards and applicable state/federal laws. Qualifications Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program. Current and unrestricted occupational therapy license in the state where services are rendered. Current CPR certification.
