Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,275 per week

Job Summary Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. Position Details Specialty: ICU – Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, night shifts Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Deliver nursing care for surgical and medical neuro diagnoses. Support an educational environment where students and new hires are commonly encountered. Maintain patient documentation and comply with unit protocols. Qualifications Registered Nurse licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS). Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Experience with National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). COVID-19 and influenza vaccination or approved declination. Minimum 23 years of clinical experience. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel nursing experience. Teaching hospital experience. Additional Information Charge responsibility may be required; appropriate training is provided. Expected weekends: 23 per month based on unit need. Travelers may be required to float to other assignments. Unit equipment includes vital signs monitoring devices, glucometers, sequential compression devices (SCDs), bladder scanners, vein finders, remote tele capability, wound vacs, IV pumps, pulse oximeters, chest tubes, tube feeding pumps (Kangaroo), and oxygen delivery devices. Assignment may be subject to cancellation of up to 3 shifts per assignment due to census. Orientation occurs on an every‑other‑Monday schedule; start dates include 07/13/2026 and 07/27/2026.
