HiFyve is hiring a Procurement Director in the Manufacturing industry in Wichita, KS!
Salary: $120K–$145K

About the Role
This role leads enterprise-wide sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management to ensure reliable supply, cost efficiency, and strong supplier partnerships across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and lead global sourcing and category strategies across direct and indirect spend
- Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing (RFI/RFQ/RFP, negotiations, contracts, supplier onboarding)
- Build and maintain a strong, risk-mitigated supplier network
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Partner with Operations, Planning, and Sales to ensure material availability and inventory optimization
- Track and drive procurement KPIs (cost savings, OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance)
- Lead supplier quality and sustainability initiatives with cross-functional teams
- Establish procurement policies, compliance standards, and best practices
- Hire, develop, and lead procurement team members
- Implement and optimize procurement systems and tools (ERP, eSourcing, analytics)
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and executive reporting
- Support new product introductions and cost reduction initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing leadership experience
- Strong experience in manufacturing environments (chemicals, packaging, MRO preferred)
- Proven success negotiating complex supplier agreements
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with supplier risk management and multi-sourcing strategies preferred
- MBA or certifications (CPSM, CPIM/CSCP, PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus
