Laundry Attendant

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry items while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the laundry area. Responsibilities include loading articles into washers, adding specified amounts of detergent, turning valves to fill washers with water, starting machines that automatically wash and rinse articles, lifting clean, wet articles from washers and placing them successively into wringers and driers for measured time cycles, sorting dried articles according to identification number or type, folding and placing items in appropriate storage bins, ironing all table linens, lubricating machines using grease guns and oil cans, ensuring cleanliness of equipment, and taking the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner. Other duties as assigned by the leader.

Education and Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Position Requirements: Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.
