The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing exhibit projects according to established schedules, deadlines, and budgets. This role coordinates internal production teams and third‑party vendors, secures required resources, and ensures projects are delivered according to plan. This person defines project objectives and oversees quality control throughout the production lifecycle to ensure each project meets specifications and company standards. Responsibilities Lead and oversee multiple exhibit projects to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion. Manage projects from beginning to end. Provide estimates for production of designs, including projected project costs and expected profit margins. Provide feedback and solutions to the team to ensure a safe and well-engineered structure while staying true to the design intent and considering ease of setup and safety during installation. Ensure projects are aligned with established objectives, specifications, and company standards. Work with Department Managers to establish production schedules, define and delegate tasks, milestones, and responsibilities based on skills, expertise, experience, and availability. Collaborate with Purchasing to acquire materials and elements from vendors, providing drawings and specifications as needed. Foster a collaborative and integrative work environment within the project team. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between departments involved in projects to achieve goals and deliverables. Monitor and manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring alignment with project objectives. Perform risk assessments, identify potential challenges and opportunities, and communicate risks to the team and management. Serve as a primary point of contact during the production of assigned projects. Address questions, concerns, and complaints throughout the project lifecycle. Act as a liaison between the company, customers, and vendors to ensure smooth collaboration and execution. Supervise and represent CenterPoint during setup and teardown of exhibits, with occasional travel to trade shows and other venues. Assist with other assigned tasks and responsibilities as needed to contribute to the success of the team and company. Required Skills/Abilities At least three years of related experience in trade show fabrication. Construction management experience required. Proficient with CAD or related software. Exhibit booth building experience. Estimating and budget experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
