Core Data/SIS/Federal Programs Coordinator Starting Date: Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Guadalupe Centers Charter Schools (GCCS) serves more than 1,600 students from PreK–12 in Kansas City, Missouri. Over 97% of students identify as Latinx, many are bilingual or English learners. GCCS includes Guadalupe Centers Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Position Summary The Core Data/SIS/Federal Programs Coordinator oversees all aspects of transportation services, student data management, and federal grant compliance. Responsibilities include managing student information systems; providing instruction and advice to system users; analyzing problems and issues related to the Student Information System and related software; coordinating usage among all system users; and producing a wide variety of reports. Reports To: VP of Accountability and Continuous Improvement SIS/Core Data Responsibilities Collaborates with the Director of Family Engagement and Student Services and registrars to ensure enrollment, attendance, and demographic data are accurate and up-to-date. Monitors and facilitates integration of other student information systems/data systems with Infinite Campus i.e. Clever, EdCite, ELLevation, and Paper Tutoring. Identifies issues and serves as the escalation point for inquiries related to the student information system, software applications, and data, ensuring timely resolution of user problems. Provides training opportunities for district and site staff on the use of the student information system (e.g. new applications, upgrades, updates, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring proper and efficient use of the system. Responds to user requests for a variety of report options (e.g. assessment information, attendance, enrollment, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information to appropriate parties. Submits all Core Data reports, and assists the District Food Services Department with Free and Reduced Lunch reports, and other state and federally-mandated reports to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and other entities as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Federal/State Programs Administration Responsibilities Manage federal grant programs and funding allocations. Ensure compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement programs aimed at improving student outcomes. Monitor the effectiveness of federal programs and make recommendations for improvement. Oversee LEA “Grant Management”, provide follow through, and mentor allocation accountability and effectiveness/results. Supervise and oversee the McKinney Vento/Homeless program for the LEA. Required Skills/Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Education, Information Systems, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience with student information systems and state reporting requirements. Experience managing and analyzing large data sets. Knowledge of federal and state reporting requirements and compliance regulations. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database applications. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Experience Experience with Missouri Core Data reporting. Experience administering SIS platforms. Experience with federal programs compliance and reporting. Experience supporting audits, monitoring reviews, and data validation processes. Knowledge of FERPA and student data privacy requirements. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
