As a Security Officer - Medical Facility - Full Time in Savannah, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In a role built on teamwork and integrity, you will bring a caring approach while staying agile, reliable, and innovative in your daily responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, healthcare location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or medical-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report security-related concerns, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
