Payroll Accountant

Our client in the South King County area is seeking an experienced Payroll Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. If you enjoy payroll processing, reporting, compliance, and working in a collaborative accounting environment, we'd love to hear from you! Responsibilities Processing biweekly and monthly payroll Preparing payroll reports and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Assisting with payroll tax reporting and year-end W-2 preparation Preparing payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations Coordinating with HR regarding benefits, compensation, and employee payroll matters Supporting audits and special projects as needed This is an onsite opportunity working alongside a dedicated payroll team within a large accounting department. The manager is approachable, supportive, and encourages questions.
