Sentinel Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer

Salary: $98,400 - 184,200 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field, plus 5 years of experience for Principal Systems Engineer, or 8 years for Sr. Principal Systems Engineer; advanced degrees reduce the required years of experience.
• Active U.S. Government DoD Secret clearance at the time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and Special Access Program access within a reasonable timeframe, or current SAP approval at hire for the Sr. Principal level.
• At least 1 year of experience in requirements management, analysis, and allocation for the Principal level, or 2 years for the Sr. Principal level.
• At least 1 year of experience with model-based engineering/model-based systems engineering tools and practices such as Cameo, Rhapsody, or MagicDraw for the Principal level, or 2 years for the Sr. Principal level.
• At least 1 year of experience in one or more relevant domains such as Command & Control, physical security, cybersecurity, NC3 systems/processes, communications systems, facility design, or military aerospace development for the Principal level, or 2 years for the Sr. Principal level.
• Preferred experience includes developing or reviewing requirements in DOORS or a similar tool.
• Self-motivated problem solver who can work with minimal oversight and recommend process improvements.
• Experience working in teams with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Partner with program IPT counterparts to build supporting systems engineering and design deliverables.
• Work with technical teams and stakeholders to mature architecture content for large program designs.
• Develop and refine system requirements and ensure they are accurately represented in the model.
• Create systems architectures using Cameo Enterprise Architecture, including behavioral, structural, and analytical views.
• Contribute to requirements development, management, and analysis.
• Develop common model techniques, procedures, and processes for model development, tool integration, and team integration.
• Support use case development, requirements definition and allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification and validation, and requirements traceability.
