Who You Are

You're a leader in the kitchen — calm under pressure, hands-on during service, and obsessed with quality. You know how to motivate a team, manage costs without sacrificing standards, and create an environment where cooks want to learn and perform.

You're equally comfortable:

• Running a busy pass
• Coaching line cooks mid-service
• Building systems and maintaining standards
• Collaborating on new dishes and menu rollouts
• Keeping the kitchen sharp, clean, organized, and DOH-ready

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading daily kitchen operations and service execution
• Managing food quality, ordering, and labor controls
• Training and mentoring BOH talent
• Supporting menu development and implementation
• Maintaining NYC DOH and HACCP standards
• Working closely with FOH and culinary leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Requirements

• 2+ years Sous Chef experience in high-volume or luxury hospitality preferred
• NYC Food Protection License required
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and culinary excellence

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $85,000.00)
